4. Third-Party Services & Their Storage
The following third-party services may place or access storage when you use WildDex:
- Mapbox GL — when you view the Wildlife Map, your browser loads map tiles from Mapbox servers. Mapbox may log tile request IP addresses. WildDex has disabled Mapbox telemetry event tracking (the
EVENTS_URLis nulled). See the Mapbox Privacy Policy. - Google OAuth— if you sign in with Google, Google's OAuth service sets its own cookies on
accounts.google.comper Google's Privacy Policy. - Cloudinary — images are served from Cloudinary CDN. Cloudinary may set performance/CDN cookies. See the Cloudinary Privacy Policy.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings:
Please note: Deleting the WildDex session cookie (better-auth.session_token) or clearing wilddex_token from localStorage will log you out of your account.
6. Changes to This Policy
We will update this Cookie Policy to reflect any changes to the cookies or storage mechanisms we use. The Effective Date above will be updated accordingly.
